Calendar Photo Contest

We’re excited to invite you to participate in the First State Bank Photo Calendar Contest and show off your most pawsitively hilarious animal moments! Whether it’s a silly pet pose, a perfectly timed snapshot, or an unexpected animal antic, we want to see the photos that make you laugh. Selected images will be featured in the 12‑month 2027 First State Bank calendar.
Photo submissions should feature animals as the main subject and capture a humorous or lighthearted moment, containing no faces of people. Photos may be taken at any time and from any location. We request that only basic edits such as color correction and cropping be applied. First State Bank reserves the right to crop photos as needed to fit calendar layouts.
Reward: 12 winners (one for each month of the calendar) will be selected. Each winning photographer will receive $50, photo credit next to their image in the calendar, and three calendars to share with family and friends. An 18×24” print will also be provided upon request.
Entry Period: Photos must be submitted electronically to calendar@bfirst.bank between June 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026, along with a completed entry form. Printed photos or submissions without an entry form will not be accepted. Each individual may submit up to two photos, but may only be selected once to be featured in the calendar. One completed entry form is required per entrant, not per photo. Incomplete entry forms may be subject to disqualification.
Format: All submissions must be color images in horizontal (landscape) format. Photos must be submitted digitally as .jpg files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at 8.5” x 11” (2550 x 3300 pixels). Due to printing requirements, photos that do not meet these specifications cannot be selected.
Participation: The contest is open to photographers of all skill levels, amateur or professional, and all ages are encouraged to participate. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. The contest is open to the public and is not limited to First State Bank customers. First State Bank employees are not eligible to participate; however, their family members may enter. Photos must be the sole and original work of the contestant and not copied, in whole or in part, from any other work.
Judging: 12 photos will be selected by a volunteer panel of judges for use in the calendar. The name of the photographer will not be known by the judging panel. Judging will be based on the quality of the photograph, adherence to the rules of the contest, and the suitability of the subject. Winners will be notified via email or phone on or after August 1, 2026.
